Family ties...

Some ties, more than others, are a source of inspiration, of pride, of joy and have the power to bestow lots of energy and vigor on you so you can face your daily activities with more confidence! I reckon family ties are most representative of this state of mind. Again from my own experience, I like to sit amidst the members of my family (especially the kids), and just be there with them. We may talk nonsense, which we frequently do, or we may be trying to make a serious decision concerning one of us, it all turns out to be just as conclusive in terms of self satisfaction. There is an intense feeling of contentment that flatters around and tells us that "yes, we need each other so much and yes we do belong with each other"...
The three little kids are a bliss... they are so fresh, so spontaneous, so full of life and energy that being with them is a moment of intense joy and meriment. The others, the adults, show no reluctance in talking overtly about their fears, their expectations, their anxieties yet they are at times less spontaneous and may take time to express themselves. Anyway, it's always a pleasure to be with them all, providing I do have time for that as my job takes 90% of my time and even more...
